By this I'm not referring to the potty-mouthed nature of adult coloring books, but to the actual page designs. A good coloring book is defined by bounded regions, firm lines, and clever patterning. This book the first "adult" version that absolutely has that combination. It's funny and a good coloring book.As for the neighbor kids, I think they'd love this coloring book. Or just cut out a page and insert it into any regular coloring book. That's always fun.I was provided a free sample in exchange for my honest review.
I love to color late at night after I get my kids to bed ! I really have to say this is my favorite by far , the words are funny and the pages are nice and thick , the only thing I don't care for is the pages are not perforated that's a big bummer for me , but other than that it's a great book.
Bought this as a birthday gift for a friend along with a "normal" adult coloring book and she loved it. Basically each page has an offensive word surrounded by flowers and hearts to color. She thought it was very funny. The words are quite offensive, so warning about that. Otherwise, funny product and good price. Well constructed.

It's a great book for a beginning hematologist, but not thorough enough to become proficient with recognizing less-common disorders. MORE pictures of each cell type and condition need to be included, not just one of each. Students need to be trained to recognize cellular conditions, not just memorize one picture to give the correct answer. Also, the glossary and index are missing a few (rare) words. I had to use the internet instead, more than once.
Without this book learning hematology would and could have been so much harder. The questions at the back of each chapter are very helpful. Especially the charts and diagrams.
I needed this book for my school MLT hematology program. It is a really good hematology reference book with significantly deep science related to the study of blood and blood related problems. It is rather large as a volume which means that it is a good bookshelf reference book. A good range of really nice pictures and graphics as well as much information about each of the topics as you will need for a 2 year, 4 year degree and beyond. Well laid out information allows for easier understanding despite the depth of knowledge portrayed.
When I first saw this book I got scared because of the size and weight of it, but when I finally got the courage to open it and start reading it, it surprised me! I found this book to be really good and the pictures are great and help out a lot. The case studies at the end of each chapter are really great and got me to understand more and think about the content of the chapter, which by doing that helped me to remember!! Also the last part of the book: Laboratory methods, was a great help to me both in preparing for class and when it came to writing the report, the book tells you step by step how the procedures are done. I will always keep this book for reference as I know it will help in during my career as a lab technongist.
This book looks old but it's my favorite heme textbook so far. Everything is explain in a way that's easy to understand.
I am a college student and this book is not at the top of my list of most dependable resources. It is not self-explanatory at all. With that being said, it goes into detail without telling the reader "need-to-know" information and/or terms. None of the words are in bold nor are they highlighted, so there is no way of distinguishing the important information from the trivial information. I do not recommend this book and it's definitely not worth the price.

Fair information from a therapist who stopped practicing to become a librarian. If all you want is "book knowledge" then this is for you. There are better resources written by therapists who are actually treating patients.
I wish i had found this book before my level 2 Fieldwork! It gives simple explanations, how to evaluate and treat many diagnosis. I will use when I start working as a new practitioner
Excellent resource for both student and professional OT and OTA. In my opinion, this is one of the "must have" books.
I've been calling this my "Bible." It goes everywhere with me (like, literally). It was only required for 1 of my classes last semester, but I used it for 4 of them! Even if it's not required, do yourself a favor and buy this. It is incredibly useful for OT students, and I foresee myself using it even after I graduate.
Great to have around when you need to reference a treatment.
This book is a MUST if you are an OTR or student studying occupational therapy. Reed does a great job breaking down all of the assessments and interventions into the different domains of our OTPF. Great book to have at your desk and also to refresh on! Would highly recommend.
