All of Maya Banks Books are for great reading. There isn’t one book I’ve come across that wasn’t great. I would buy from this seller again in the future. I have great respect for seller’s that take great pride in their products and especially if the product is in new or good condition and the price is right. In this case, all was satisfaction. The list goes on and on...It was impossible to resist these enigmatic Alpha doms who would do anything to keep their lady loves Mia, Bethany and Josie pleasured and pampered and protected. These are men who fell hard and fast, but once they did, nothing would stand in the way of total dominance and all consuming passion. Sure they are total cavemen who are demanding, self-professed control freaks—in the bedroom and out—but also incredibly kind and generous, endearingly sweet and tender. These are men who love with their whole hearts and treat their beautiful subs with exquisite gentleness and care. Like precious jewels to be treasured and cherished.I swooned the moment I began RUSH, basked in pleasure when I delved into FEVER and finally sighed with sheer satisfaction when I turned to the very last page of BURN. I was absolutely blown away and riveted by the first book and delved into the second book for a continuation of the story on Gabe and Mia but was disappointed when I discovered the book was a new story about her brother Jace. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book in itself. Fever was a little reminiscent of the plot line to Rush but still a good read and Burn, again reminiscent to Rush, was the story of Ash. Unfortunately, by the third book, I lost interest and just skimmed through the pages and to the end. Have to say I was disappointed in the ending as well. The four star rating is due ONLY to the first book. My only hope is that Maya Banks will write another book about the continuation of the characters of Gabe and Mia. I'd like to read about the engagement, wedding and life after.
Three single, late 30's, strong alpha males, who are also best-friends & hotel owners (rich and handsome too) dominate three younger (20's) beautiful females. Each Male/Female has their own book... (Fever) Gabe/Mia, (Rush) Jace/Brittany, (Burn) Ash/Josie. The males want the females to be their submissives. Some threesomes with two males and a female. Some family drama/issues/twists along the way. Good, but very explicit sexual content.
Almost stopped reading after first half of first book. There was no content, just crass. There are so many words to choose from and it was the same "kitty" and "chicken" over and over. There was more of an actual story the 2nd half, but still not great. Decided to give the author a second chance with book 2 and the storyline was flat. I barely made it to the end. Didn't bother with the 3rd book.If you want a good series, read the Crossfire trilogy by Sylvia Day.
The first book is good. It will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat while you can't stop turning the page. The second book is readable at best. There are so many similarities in the stories it started to get annoying. The final book I couldn't even finish. It's the same story 3 times with 2 different chatacters. All 3 men had different perSonali ties in book 1 but by book 3, they all could easily be confused for the same man. My recommendation: read the first one and be done.
I love Maya Banks and ordered the trilogy for the weekend. I was not disappointed, the characters, the story line is great in all three books. You just do not want the series to end. As an author she weaves a story to keep you reading I have loved everything she has written. There are so few authors that you know the books will be great and I purchased all the books knowing I will enjoy and be entertained. I look forward to her new books Maya please keep them coming.

Much younger level then I hoped for. Great for pre-k and kinder levels. Only adds up to one dollar. Too low level for what I wanted, but it is still a cute book.The basic story is Penny charged one penny for her lemonade, then 2 cups at two pennys, then a nickel, a dime, a quarter, and finally 2 quarters. (Of course she and her little sister got some for free) once the total is a dollar, she runs to the store and buys a bday card for her mom.It is simple, and cute, and kids liked it when we made the sound effects for "Clank clank" each time money went into the jar.
My 6 y/o loves this book. She finds it interesting and fun to read. She especially loves the coin recognition and counting. The book has beautiful illustrations. We also like the ending of the book. Great book for young readers. Definitely recommend it!
Penny is a little girl who sells lemonade to friends and family, she is trying to raise money for a very special project. It's a sweet story. The only small negative is that the book refers to the US currency and therefore it is not relevant for kids living in other parts of the world.Apart from that it's a perfect self reader. The story line is engaging, young children love it. The images are beautifully done with lots of color and detail. The font is big enough and the story is not too long.

It may not be fair to only give it 4 stars. It is an excellent book that covers the topic thoroughly, but I think it is better for a 13-14 year old. Other reviewers have pointed out that the chapter on sex is advanced for a younger audience. I am ready to discuss sex in general, but feel it is too early (at 10) to discuss anal and oral sex. We thought about tearing those pages out and sharing the book, but have now decided to return and look for another book.
I bought this for my teen and preteen granddaughters. It was one of 4 books that I found while searching for age appropriate books. It was recommended by the American Medical Association. Their parents have been reluctant to give any in depth knowledge to their girls. So, as their grandmother (with their permission), I have taken over. I was a sex education teacher for many years while teaching 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. They came with misinformation and a thirst for the truth about their bodies. This book was a wonderful start to answer the questions that they have been asking but that remained unanswered. I also encouraged my 13 year old grandson to read his sisters' books and that they would read his, too.

Great book once my tween got over her fear of entering this new phase of life. She even has a group of girls who discuss the changes. It helps her to remember that she's not alone and these things are normal.
Great book for an upcoming teen. Talks about everything you need it to. I use it for work in therapy and have found that it's an easy to read guide. I can skip and jump to subjects, depending on what each client needs. Great for hygiene/period issues!
