All of Maya Banks Books are for great reading. There isn’t one book I’ve come across that wasn’t great. I would buy from this seller again in the future. I have great respect for seller’s that take great pride in their products and especially if the product is in new or good condition and the price is right. In this case, all was satisfaction. These are men who love with their whole hearts and treat their beautiful subs with exquisite gentleness and care. I was absolutely blown away and riveted by the first book and delved into the second book for a continuation of the story on Gabe and Mia but was disappointed when I discovered the book was a new story about her brother Jace. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book in itself. Fever was a little reminiscent of the plot line to Rush but still a good read and Burn, again reminiscent to Rush, was the story of Ash. Unfortunately, by the third book, I lost interest and just skimmed through the pages and to the end. Have to say I was disappointed in the ending as well. The four star rating is due ONLY to the first book. My only hope is that Maya Banks will write another book about the continuation of the characters of Gabe and Mia. I'd like to read about the engagement, wedding and life after.

(Fever) Gabe/Mia, (Rush) Jace/Brittany, (Burn) Ash/Josie. The males want the females to be their submissives. Some threesomes with two males and a female. Some family drama/issues/twists along the way. Good, but very explicit sexual content.
Almost stopped reading after first half of first book. There was no content, just crass. There are so many words to choose from and it was the same "kitty" and "chicken" over and over. There was more of an actual story the 2nd half, but still not great. Decided to give the author a second chance with book 2 and the storyline was flat. I barely made it to the end. Didn't bother with the 3rd book.If you want a good series, read the Crossfire trilogy by Sylvia Day.
The first book is good. It will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat while you can't stop turning the page. The second book is readable at best. There are so many similarities in the stories it started to get annoying. The final book I couldn't even finish. It's the same story 3 times with 2 different chatacters. All 3 men had different perSonali ties in book 1 but by book 3, they all could easily be confused for the same man. My recommendation: read the first one and be done.
I love Maya Banks and ordered the trilogy for the weekend. I was not disappointed, the characters, the story line is great in all three books. You just do not want the series to end. As an author she weaves a story to keep you reading I have loved everything she has written. There are so few authors that you know the books will be great and I purchased all the books knowing I will enjoy and be entertained. I look forward to her new books Maya please keep them coming.
